About Us

Established in 2018

A centre of the Harare Institute of Technology responsible for the management of the Institute's Research, Development and Innovation outputs. The centre is responsible for the transfer of knowledge and technology to industry, in terms of commercialisation of research and innovations, tech-licensing, interaction and contractual relations with the private sector and establishment of business ventures including, but not limited to, joint ventures and venture capital. The TTLCC oversees the innovation hub that accommodates and fosters the growth of companies and technopreneurs through venture mentoring services, training, financing and establishment of a cross functional technopreneurship forum. A key role of TTLCC is to manage and operationalise the Harare Institute of Technology's Commercialisation (Intellectual Property, Start-up & Consultancy) policies.
